We’re recalling three batches of our Merchant Gourmet Black Dhal with Black Lentils & Coconut Cream due to a risk of cross-contamination with peanuts.
This is part of a wider supply chain issue relating to mustard ingredients that has impacted multiple food brands recently. Our decision to recall is precautionary and specific to the below three batches. The batch code and best before date can be found back of pack, bottom right. Indicated on the image below in red.
- Batch number: LP22407S00262, Best before 21.07.26;
- Batch number: LP42407S00461, Best before 04.08.26;
- Batch number: LP22410S00008, Best before 06.10.26.
We are working closely with the Food Standards Agency and our suppliers to address this industry wide issue and ensure that all products meet our strict health and safety standards. We’re also liaising with retailers to remove affected products from shelves.
If you have bought a product from one of these batches, and you have an allergy / intolerance / sensitivity to peanuts, do not eat it.
Instead, please take it back to the place of purchase to receive a full refund (with or without receipt). Or reach out to our own customer service team who can offer a replacement or provide a refund.
