Spiced Grains & Chestnut Stuffing Balls

Ingrédients

Méthode

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C
  2. Tip the Spiced Grains & Chestnuts into a pan with approx. 50ml water and heat gently
  3. Sprinkle over the cornflour and mix well to combine, stirring over the heat for 3 minutes.
  4. Take off the heat, put into a food processor and blitz the mixture until the grains break down slightly
  5. Shape the mixture into golf balls, pop on an oiled baking tray (wet hands slightly if the mixture is sticking) and bake for 15 minutes until crisp on the outside.
  6. Serve and enjoy.

Good to know!

You can shape the stuffing into small patties which go perfectly in our leftover sandwich recipe.

  • I’m looking for a recipe for stuffing that uses your chestnut puree rather than whole chestnuts. Obviously I should have bought whole chestnuts but now I need to use the puree. We are having turkey but, ideally, the stuffing should be vegetarian and gluten-free.
