Simple to prepare
Squeeze the pouch to loosen the grains. For best results, heat through in a pan with a dash of water. Otherwise, tear a 2cm opening at the top and microwave for 45s at 900W, or simply enjoy them cold.

My absolute favourite grains - tasty and versatile
I first came across Merchant Gourmet at a Food Show in London. At that time, there was Frekkeh, which I loved. These are now my favourite grains, they retain bite and are so useful, whether it's salads, as a base for more or less everything, savoury or sweet (I've had them with coconut cream and honey). With the new Meals in Minute options, they are perfect.

Useful and tasty
Nice to have a simple ingredient like this. A good alternative to rice (which we rarely eat). The spelt has a pleasant flavour that goes with a lot of dishes.
