Ingrédients
- 1 400g tin whole chickpeas
- 1 head of garlic roasted, or 2 tbsp roasted garlic puree
- 1 pack Mechant Gourmet Chestnut Puree
- 60g Merchant Gourmet Whole Chestnuts
- 1 tbsp tahini
- 50ml extra virgin olive oil, add more for desired silkiness
- Juice of 2 limes, or more to taste
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Ras el hanout seasoning
- 120g chickpeas
- 60g Merchant Gourmet Whole Chestnuts
- 1 tbsp Ras l hanout seasoning.
- 1 tsp sea salt
Crispy Chestnut & Chickpea Topping
Méthode
- Preheat your oven to 200 degrees celcius.
- To make the hummus, drain chickpeas well and put all the ingredients into a blender.
- Blend the ingredients whilst adding the oil slowly so it incorporates all elements.
- For the crispy topping, start by breaking the chestnuts gently by hand.
- Drain the chickpeas and mix with the crumbled chestnuts, ras el hanout and salt.
- Roast on a lined tray for 10-12 minutes until crispy. Stir the mixture half way through.
- Serve your hummus in a wide dish with the crispy topping scattered on top. We love it with a lashing of chilli oil too!
