Ingrédients
- Basa fillets
- 1 pouch Merchant Gourmet Brown, Red & Wild Rice
- 3 tomatoes, deseeded and diced
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 bunch of flat leaf parsley
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1-2 tbsp ground sumac
Turkish Salad:
Méthode
- Chop the ingredients for the salad and combine well.
- Season the basa fish fillets with salt, pepper.
- Heat a frying pan to a medium-high heat, then add the olive oil once it becomes hot.
- Place the basa fillets into the hot pan, and fry for roughly 2 minutes on one side.
- After 2 minutes and when the fish are colouring slightly underneath, flip the fish over, and add butter and whole garlic cloves to the pan.
- Tilt the pan, and use the melted butter and juices to baste the fish. Fry for another 2 to 3 minutes until the fish is no longer translucent.
- Heat Merchant Gourmet's rice according to packet instructions.
- Assemble the salad, rice and fish on a plate and tuck in!
