Ingrédients

  • Basa fillets
  • 1 pouch Merchant Gourmet Brown, Red & Wild Rice
  •  

    Turkish Salad:

  • 3 tomatoes, deseeded and diced 
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 bunch of flat leaf parsley
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1-2 tbsp ground sumac

Méthode

  1. Chop the ingredients for the salad and combine well. 
  2. Season the basa fish fillets with salt, pepper. 
  3. Heat a frying pan to a medium-high heat, then add the olive oil once it becomes hot.
  4. Place the basa fillets into the hot pan, and fry for roughly 2 minutes on one side.
  5. After 2 minutes and when the fish are colouring slightly underneath, flip the fish over, and add butter and whole garlic cloves to the pan. 
  6. Tilt the pan, and use the melted butter and juices to baste the fish. Fry for another 2 to 3 minutes until the fish is no longer translucent.
  7. Heat Merchant Gourmet's rice according to packet instructions.
  8. Assemble the salad, rice and fish on a plate and tuck in!
